In Home Support

Leap Forward Therapy will come to you for your sessions. Sessions are catered to the needs of the client and aim to utilise everyday items you have access to in the home environment. Assessments can also be done in the home environment where appropriate. 

Telehealth

Telehealth is available for clients who are unable to attend face-to-face appointments and involves individualised therapy programs or assessments.

NDIS Participants

Leap Forward Therapy is able to provide Occupational Therapy services and Early Childhood Intervention services in OT for NDIS participants who are Plan Managed and Self Managed. 

Leap Forward Therapy is not an NDIS Registered Provider. 

School Support

Occupational Therapy is available is the school setting with approval from the school and teacher, to support your child's attention, engagement and participation in the classroom and playground.

Reports

Reports are available as an independent service or as part of ongoing therapy supports. Examples of reports include assessments, functional capacity assessments, end of plan and recommendation reports.

Private Clients

Leap Forward Therapy provides Occupational Therapy services to private paying clients. 

Community Support

Leap Forward Therapy can also provide Occupational Therapy input in a community setting when skill development or assessments require a different environment, or if you are uncomfortable with us accessing your home.

Assessments

Assessments are available as an independent service or part of ongoing service delivery. Assessments can be completed to establish current skill levels and the impact of their diagnosis. Assessments can be reviewed after therapy input to monitor progress.

Medicare Clients

Leap Forward Therapy also provides Occupational Therapy services to clients claiming the Medicare rebate.

Assessments and Reports

Assessments can be completed as a standalone service, or as part of a therapy service plan:

  • Cognitive assessments,  

  • Assessment of overall development,

  • Sensory Processing Assessments,  

  • Motor skill assessments,  

  • Assessment and recommendation for assistive technology,

  • Functional Capacity Assessments and Reports for NDIS participants.

Leap Forward Therapy’s assessment and report services are also available to adults (18+). Our team have previously specialised in working with adults, however, as Leap Forward Therapy is primarily paediatric focused our adult services are accepted on a case-by-case basis.
